San Diego County Varmint Callers

Mission Statement

promote varmint calling as a sport;

promote the conservation of wildlife through the taking of varmints and/or predators by

licensed hunters;

promote hunting as a humane alternative to the use of poisons as a means of varmint control;

inform and educate the public on the importance of a natural balance of wildlife;

oppose restrictive legislation and its negative impacts on the possession and use of firearms and archery equipment;

encourage and promote better relationships between landowners and the sportsmen with regard to varmint and predator management;

cooperate with all federal, state and local agencies in the control of varmints and predatory animals;

promote safe storage, handling and correct use of firearms and archery equipment;

promote public interest in the shooting sports; and,

encourage comradery and promote fellowship among Club members.
